Mission: The Idaho Organization of Resource Councils seeks to achieve a democratic, sustainable and just society in Idaho through community action.

Project Funded ($3,000): The Idaho Organization of Resource Councils is a new, rural-focused, multi-issue membership-based, democratically controlled citizens’ organization in Idaho that will focus on issues of poverty, sustainable wealth generation and responsible energy development. Their current focus is on increasing public awareness about the impacts of fracking on people and the environment.
