Mission Statement

Since 2000, Idaho Smart Growth has collaborated with partners across the state, bringing the pieces together to create great places to live. We work with communities and individuals to help build communities that are healthy, safe and resilient. We are a progressive, comprehensive resource center working towards a more sustainable pattern of growth, connecting people to places.

Objectives 2011

Bring people together to make sure we keep our communities vibrant and our lands health. Use grassroots organizing to build power from the ground up and broaden the support for transit in the Boise metro area and throughout Idaho; involve more of the public in discussion of transit options; and empower activists to become leaders to ensure expanded transit options for residents.
